These mermaid Barbies were the best barbies we've bought. They are durable and have lasted through multiple vacations to hotels which housed both bromine and chlorine swimming pools and visits to the ocean. They are a favorite bathtime toy. The color and tattoos have lasted through all of this. I rated these Barbies as educational because not only do they learn about water dynamics and buoyancy but when my girls play Barbies, they learn about appropriate social interaction.
