This is my daughter's first Barbie doll which she received today as a birthday present. She had never heard of Barbie before now but seems quite taken with her. My husband and I commented on how extraordinarily long her legs are for the rest of her. Her hair seemed really curly in the box, but it's just the two chunks in front, the back of her hair is straight and frizzy. Her swim top barely covers her boobs and my daughter keeps pointing that out. This wouldn't have been my first choice in Barbie dolls to give to my daughter (specifically being her first Barbie) but she likes it. My 6 year old received this as a gift - she has many Barbie's and accessories - but this was one of her favorite toys this holiday season. She loves having Barbie cook on the TV set - it really has sparked her imagination as she creates new and inventive recipes for Barbie to make. Barbie Collector: Martina McBride Doll

I looked at this doll in the toystore, and she looked very pretty and different than all the other barbies. I didn't get her, until later when I saw her on a store on the internet. When I got her in the mail, she looked like all the other barbie dolls, but only with short hair. I was very disapointed. Although the price was good, I had fun with her in my display box. I guess she looked better in the store because the lighting was darker, and you don't see her that well. But she is still cute and I love her clothes.Buy Barbie Collector: Martina McBride Doll!
