This doll, Barbie and the Rockers Repro 1986 is the best repro from the My Favorite Barbie Doll series! Since mostly original molds are used, the doll is the most authentic of all the My Favorite Barbie dolls reproduced to celebrate Barbie's 50th birthday. Face paint, hairstyle and outfit are great! The doll is bright, cheerful, with her lime green box and she really stands out. This is my daughter's first Barbie doll which she received today as a birthday present. She had never heard of Barbie before now but seems quite taken with her. My husband and I commented on how extraordinarily long her legs are for the rest of her. Her hair seemed really curly in the box, but it's just the two chunks in front, the back of her hair is straight and frizzy. Her swim top barely covers her boobs and my daughter keeps pointing that out. This wouldn't have been my first choice in Barbie dolls to give to my daughter (specifically being her first Barbie) but she likes it. I looked at this doll in the toystore, and she looked very pretty and different than all the other barbies. I didn't get her, until later when I saw her on a store on the internet. When I got her in the mail, she looked like all the other barbie dolls, but only with short hair. I was very disapointed. Although the price was good, I had fun with her in my display box.
