My 4 y.o. got this for Xmas. She wanted a Barbie house but space wise and financially i couldn't...this is a perfect replacement. There are few sweet features that she loves such as the flushing toilet noise and the toilet seat goes up :P as well as the pop up tent. I think this is the only toy in the house so far she can share with her 7 y.o. sister without fighting :). Overall a good and fun toy. Barbie Mariposa Rayla Doll This instant

This Barbie doll's durability is awful. The reason I bought this is because the neck snapped off, so to keep my daughter from being hysterical I had to buy another one, double the price of what I paid for the first one. This is the second Barbie doll whose neck broke off. I also had to replace the Melanie doll from the Diamond Castle as well. My daughter is a huge Barbie fan and it distresses me when these dolls fall apart for no apparent reason or rough play. It would be so nice if they were made in this country instead of overseas. I bought this set for our seven-year-old daughter to go with the movie that the dolls were based on. She loved it! The set is so cute and does not have the durability problems that the Barbie with the silver dress does. The three Kelly dolls are so sweet and the plastic cat, Chuzzlewit is to die for! Just one thing though-the three Kelly dolls are not orphan characters as the description says-they are the three Christmas spirits; although I don't know why (in the movie the Christmas Sprits are more Barbie size). The only other thing is I wish they had made Catherine, Kelly and the orphans into dolls. That would have made the set complete.
