I love star trek and barbies, so this purchase made sense. I was upset, however, that for $40 Mr. Spock would have been designed so poorly. His outfit was good, as was his phaser and tricorder and boots and all that, but I was extremely disappointed in his hair. It wasn't very neat and about as hard as it could be with whatever type of hair spray Mattel uses for dolls. It also didn't look very much like Mr. Spock. His eyes seemed to be painted unevenly also. All in all, it seemed that these Star Trek dolls were massed produced quickly and without care to make the biggest profit.
